HISTORY
The Graduate School of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was established by Presidential Decree No. 8785 dated August 1, 2024, published in the Official Gazette No. 32620 on August 2, 2024. The School was formed through the merger of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, the Gönen Geothermal Institute, the Graduate School of Health Sciences, and the Graduate School of Social Sciences.
Like other institutions within our university, our Graduate School possesses significant experience and a well-established educational background inherited from Balıkesir University. The School commenced its academic activities in the Fall Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, currently offering a total of 76 programs across 37 departments, including 15 Doctoral (PhD), 47 Master’s with Thesis, and 14 Non-thesis Master’s programs.
